People at the Grand Palace Complex, Bangkok
The Grand Palace is one of the must see sights in Bangkok, but it is more than just a complex of dazzling buildings. As the spiritual heart of the Thai Kingdom, I wanted to photograph the people who cherish this landmark. Above, a woman repairs the intricate mosaic on The Temple of the Emerald Buddha (Wat Phra Kaew). Housed inside the building, the jade Emerald Buddha statue is revered and treasured in Thailand as the protector of the country.
